About SAT Exam

The SAT is a standardized test widely used for college admissions in the United States and Canada. The SAT is wholly owned, developed, and published by the College Board, a private, not-for-profit organization in the United States. SAT is intended to measure literacy, numeracy and writing skills that are needed for academic success in college.

Why take the test?

SAT is required to be taken by students seeking admission to undergraduate schools. SAT exam has been developed to test the written, verbal and mathematical skills of the candidates. Applicants who aspire to pursue undergraduate courses, particularly in the US and Canada, are required to take the SAT exam. Apart from this, many schools also offer SAT scholarship money to students based on their SAT results.

    General Facts

    Date and FrequencyThe SAT exam is held 6 times a year
    Center and Admit CardThe SAT exam is offered multiple times throughout the year across 30 cities in India. Admit hall ticket must be downloaded and brought by the candidate on test date.
    ResultSAT scores for any test date during the school year are almost always available 2–4 weeks after you take the test. You’ll get an email when your SAT scores are available online. If you don’t have an online account, you’ll be sent a paper score report.
    Score ReportingYou can send your Official Score Report to up to four programs for free that you select at the test center prior to the start of your SAT exam. The College Board sends your SAT scores to your chosen colleges within 10 days of when you receive all your SAT scores.
